RIAT CAMP FOR 1368

CI Osborne and Cpl Marsh attended the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford, 12th-18th July.

Air Cadets from around the country spend between one and three weeks at the Show, helping out with various duties. The cadets are grouped into flights for their duties, which include helping at the 1st Class Lounge, the VIP lounge and crowd lining. Everyone also had plenty of time to look around the static displays and watch some incredible flying.
Cpl Marsh was lucky enough to meet the American display team, USAF Thunderbirds, who fly the F-16.
CI Osborne was given the chance to be 2IC of a flight which he enjoyed as it gave him the opportunity to experience all elements of RIAT.
